December 12, 2007: X-mas Dinner with students of Darasamutr Business Administration College in Chonburi (DBAC) and The Laemchanbang School of Technology
RCES wished all their protégées a very Happy X-mas and Prosperous new year

3 years Scholarships at Darasamutr Business Administration College in Chonburi (DBAC) and
The Laemchanbang School of Technology

RCES Members, Günther Müller, Dr. Hans Peter Mack, Sabine and Ferenc Fricsay (the latter though with a modest share), pooled funds for some 38 kids, who have no financial means to obtain a higher education over a period of 3 years running. This initial batch is now in the third (last) year of their educational process. 10 students have been added this year and their terms will run until 2010, again funded by Guenther.

Parallel to the significant support for the Darasamutr Business Administration College Chonburi (DBAC), RCES members further adopted 7 students from the Laemchabang School of Technology (LCST) in 2005 and increased the number of students to 12 overall in 2007. The sponsors for these students are Günther Müller 7, Stefan Ryser 4 and Daniel and Marianne Biel-Büsch 1 student.

In May 2005 the RCES set out encouraged by Günther Müller to investigate education support. The idea at the was to provide over a period of 3 years running for a group of school kids to improve education to better their professional chances in Business Administration and the English language. Giovanni Sanguankeo identified to Guenther DBAC in Chonburi.

After some research, DBAC was confirmed as a worthy institution to have the back ground, sufficient educational standards and in due course a meeting was arranged with the DBAC management, namely Father Somchit and his Excellency the Bishop of Sri Racha, who is the Dean of DBAC.

The satisfaction and awareness that RCES with such generous sponsors amongst their club ranks and are able to provide substantial funds from private sources is truly gratifying. This generosity gives hope to many more people than just the 50 students, who themselves can look forward to better lives and income opportunities and in line with Thai tradition support their next of kin. That too is most appropriate and gratifying.

With genuine appreciation the RCES feels much obliged to all our generous members.
