Charter President Martin Brands with a following of 20 members inaugurated the Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard (RCES) in Pattaya, on the 16. June 2004. His legacy was to melt together a harmonious membership of as many nationalities; different religious, ethnic backgrounds as possible and to follow a common goal in the broader spirit of Rotary International – “improve life of the underprivileged”!
The dynamics of the RCES is to provide the less fortunate Thai peoples with our efforts of fund raising and attention. Our ultimate objectives are to find those peoples in need of assistance. RCES follow through each project as soon as we take over the responsibility of commitments. We ensure that all funds are correctly and fairly distributed. RCES, their funds permitting, looks for measurable improvement to the best of our efforts.
By doing so, we provide some relieve and a chance for a more worthy, comfortable life. What we provide is just a small light in often a very dark life. If you like our works (projects) and dedication RCES gives to those needy peoples we chose as our subject projects, please get in touch with us.
Language during meetings is English; Languages spoken amongst RCES Membership: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Thai, Swiss-German.
Please come-bye during your visit to the Eastern Seaboard. Please don’t hesitate to contact us per E-mail or participate in our weekly meeting! You are always welcome at the RCES.
With Rotary Greetings and Wishes Toy Ryser / RCES President 2008-2009
