The x-mas fair during the second week of the month of December is another annual repeat event organized by the RCES. The event was first and still is organized by our Rtn. Marliese Fritz, President RCES 2006-2007. The 1.Prize of our Tombola was a Motorbike JRD.
With the generous support of the hotel staff and our very own RCES member, Rtn. Khun Somsak (General Manager of the Marriot Resort & Spa, Regional Director) we are given the opportunity to take over the entire Grand Ball-Room, to set-up stands, sell of goods, intended to come in handy for the festive season as presents for the family and friends.
Our specialty has become Champagne, served in flutes, at a THB 100.-, everybody was meeting each other at Steves „ Cüpli Bar “ for a chat and to toast to Steve for the occasion of his birthday! Our Stands: With handicraft and scenting candles of every size. Splendid jewellery of Ivy and Elfi and friends with stones for good fortune, Indian handicraft, marvellous pendants for Christmastrees and table decorations, different kinds and designs of chocolates, Ursels Antiques with objects for decoration, Desert Diamond, a special kind of jewellery, for the festive table: noble crystal, dedicated bags, belts and jewellery, also fashion was popular, extravagance in shirts, clothes and appropriate jewellery !The Merci-center with handicraft and information.The Swiss Bakery Grottino with Christmas - cakes and other delicacies,The Marriott Hotel sold Elephants decorated with Swarovsky stones for the benefit of their charity-project: SPIRIT TO SERVE! Health and Happiness may bring you many beautiful moments!
