| Jesters Fair September 10, 2006 |
On Sunday September 10, 2006,10 o'clock morning starts the 9th annual Jesters children's Fair at Diana Garden Resort & Driving Range.
RCES plays a small part in one of the finest fund raising events in Pattaya
organized by the Jester’s Group of Harley Drivers and Owners. Their objective: to raise funds for under privileged Children of our Pattaya community by selling stands for the one day event against a fee. Rtns. Steve and Toy Ryser, the driving forces of this event and a team of members and non members attend together with many other organizations. The RCES, the 2 knock-down stands were developed and designed, finally put up by Heinz Fritz and Rolf Knecht. Thanks for your contribution!
The two stands served different purposes. The stands where manned one by Marliese Fritz and her friend Coni Guder, saled german books and beautiful handmade scarf's. The other stand with our "Lucky Wheel" and "Lucky Eggs" where manned by Toy and Steve Ryser, together with her family and generous helping out by our club friends and acquaintances. Most club members dropped by with their families in tow. Steve also doubles as MC on the giant Lucky Wheel bearing the numbers of each attempt to win a price, a small token of THB 20,- to augment our Club Funds in one stand. Sporting a generous smile he gives away the prices to kids and adults alike. To entice the participation of children and parents alike, giving almost anybody who part-takes to go away with a price against. The events get of the mark at 10.00 hours and usually come to a close at around 17.00 hours.
Summary: it is a family fun day out in the open air and the weather playing its usual pleasant part. The participation by the RCES is the third consecutive year and hopes are for many more such events to come.
