Introduction and Welcoming Speech delivered by RCES Sergeant in Arms and MC for the night Ferenc Fricsay contained thanks to our RCES Member Khun Somsak Tanruengsri, General Manager with Regional Responsibilities of the Marriott Resort & Spa Pattaya for the efficient, friendly Hotel Management and Staff. The Hotel has been RCES Club Venue for over two years, hosting most of the Club events and today again offered an array of “simply the best” on the well displayed buffet.
In closing he thanked and wished President Marliese Fritz and Incoming President Stefan Ryser for their future moves and endeavors on personal and club levels all the very best.

Entertainments of the night consisted of a Folklore Dance Presentation from The School “3” Rayong; magic interactions by
Khun Krieng
during the Cocktail Reception involving all guests whilst sipping their welcome drink and again at the end the event. During the sumptuous Buffet Dinner the CD “ RCES Highlights – Current and Completed Projects 2006/07” was beamed on the screen behind the stage. The magic show by “J come First”, after the exquisite dinner, was most entertaining and delightful.

Outgoing President Marliese Fritz touched on the accomplishments the “RCES Club Teamwork and Spirit”.
She said:" It would not have been possible to meet the high standards without the 100% support and dedication of all Members".
One eye in tears and one eye laughing, "she is now able to pass on the “torch” to Stefan Ryser.
Marliese
looks back on a most gratifying and productive year, where the initiative of RCES was on the forefront. She touched on the Scholarships, the help for the underprivileged, Water purifying installations and much more the RCES has supported.
She talked also about the staggering numbers of patients helped to a better life with our MG programs, not in the least the benevolent work of our CP Martin Brands.

The Ceremony of the “Changing of Decorum for the Presidents” was brought about by PDGs Jin and Prem. They gave us the honour to bestow the appropriate insignias.

Incoming President Stefan Ryser gave an emotional address on his very plans, the travels, he is facing as President. He had plenty of praise for the answerable efforts, since the very first day of the existence of the RCES on many fronts of misery, hardship or simply lack of funds for a dignified life by providing it through RCES funding. He also introduced the President Elect Peter Schlageter.

The RCES further honored Ms. Tamara Fritz for her unselfish coordination to help and her undivided attention to a patient in Bangkok, who underwent several reconstructive surgeries over 3 months. The Board nominated Tamara, the Honorary Club Membership and pinned her with PHF medal/pin.

All formalities ended with playing of theRoyal Hymn” closing the Installation Night 2007/2008
