Farewell Party for P Steve Ryser at Swiss Paradies Restaurant on June 24, 2008

President Steve Ryser invited all club members to the final “Club Get-Together” under his president-ship to the Swiss Paradise Restaurant in Nongprue, Pattaya.
Special honor was to welcome DG Peter Malhotra who paid his respects to our P Steve for his excellent leadership on club level and his deserved appointment to ADG 2008 - 2009 to help coordinate in the district in the management of the clubs.
Others present were the P Jan Abbink of the RCJP, RCES HM Elfi Seitz, RC members from Switzerland and of course the corona and members of the RCES. It was a most pleasant evening with life music entertainment by “Hazy Osterwald”.
In a short but pointing speech Steve recollected the achievements, the ups and downs of club activities during his term (2007/8) – he extended his thanks to all who have actively contributed to the well fare of the RCES and recognized their efforts with a pair of very beautiful Crystal glasses engraved with an elephant motive in stylish packaging. Much “jovialities” were exchanged; the food and wine commended on and recognized excellent, attentive service provided nobody left with neither enough food nor drink.
Yes, the evening fizzled out with small talk as one after the other returned home with the feeling of an evening well spent.
